In 2019 the Global Waves Foundation was founded.

Through our Global Waves Gives Back Program, we host fun, interactive events for child based charities around the world. Funding is provided by our generous donors. We cannot do it without your help!

 

Our aim is to conduct these events quarterly, so it's never too late to get involved. Check out our recap video from Ghana!

Current Mission Trip:

Save Them Young Orphanage in Tema, Ghana (DEC 2019)

First off, we would like to thank you for taking an interest in our mission!

The Global Waves Foundation can not function without donations like yours. 

 

Your contributions primarily fund the events we will be hosting for different child based charities around the globe. Our goal is to host 4 events in 2020 at orphanages in 2 different countries. Again, since our mission is to spread positivity and joy through music, we value putting on quality events for children who may not often get the chance to really relax and enjoy a party. Upon arriving we spend time getting acquainted with the staff and children. Afterwards we emphasize teamwork and comradery through a social activity such as soccer. Following that we will have lunch and social hour. Lastly, we have our musical chairs competition and dance party. Throughout the day we will be documenting stories of individual children to learn about their dreams and aspirations and how the Global Waves Foundation can serve them. 

 

Below is an example of the average itemized costs for the events we will be hosting: 

 

Flights for 2 Global Waves volunteers: $2500 

 

Renting DJ Equipment: $300

 

Food for 50-75 Children and volunteers: $500

 

Lodging for 2 ($100 per night X 4): $400 

 

Bounce house rental: $250

 

GW Gift bags (hygiene supplies, t-shirt, school supplies, $20 per child): $800 

 

Total: $4750

 

The budget for each event is $4750 so we will be giving any remainder of the budget to the charity as a cash donation. In order to maximize the flight costs we will plan on doing 2 events for different charities in the same city; which is the reason for staying 4-5 days. Our intent is also to evaluate the specific needs of each charity we work with and provide some assistance if it falls within our budget. Hope this gives a good overview of the hard costs of doing our missions.
